Clinical Expertise
We provide a national network of UK subspecialist neuroradiologists, many of whom are fellowship trained and work in dedicated NHS-based neuroscience centres where they lead their local neurology multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs).
Data Security & IT Performance
We have partnered with leading post-processing software and artificial intelligence companies, all integrated into our IT workflows. We have a robust system of audit to ensure high quality performance and rapid turnaround times. We are CQC registered, hold the Data Security Protection Toolkit, ICO registration, Cyber Essentials Plus and all required certifications.
Specialist Diagnostic Pathways
Stroke risk and prevention
Magnetic Resonance Imaging assessment (MRI) in conjunction with clinical risk stratification can help quantify stroke risk. Establishing this can guide preventative strategies to minimise the lifetime risk of developing stroke.
The pathway incorporates a stroke risk stratification assessment, a specialist MRI assessment of the brain and neck arteries and a triaging consultation with a stroke neurologist who will be able to provide a summary of risk and management strategies.
Brain Health
Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a useful diagnostic tool to exclude of significant abnormalities in the brain when the features of neurological symptoms such as headache, memory difficulties, movement disfunction or sensory disturbances are atypical. An MRI scan and focused neurologist review can provide detection of significant disease or provide the necessary reassurance.
Neck and Back Health
Neck and back problems are common however, not all neck and back problems require a scan. Objective clinical assessment leading to an MRI scan followed by specialist clinical assessment may provide management options for acute or chronic neck and back issues and to exclude atypical causes of neurological symptoms.
Neuroradiology Reporting Solutions
Hybrid reporting solutions: Outsourcing with local radiologist prioritisation
The HLH Imaging Group IT infrastructure across all 7 regions of England is well established, currently delivering >85% of UK lung cancer screening reports via NHS England’s Lung Cancer Screening Programme.
We can provide workflow integration, cloud based integrated RIS-PACS solutions and AI integrated assistance (e.g. whole brain and segmented volumetry, white matter lesion mapping and microhaemorrhage detection). This IT architecture allows HLH Neuro to provide a range of hybrid reporting solutions from complete neuroradiology cover, waiting-list through to ‘back-up/surge-capacity resilience’.
Our experienced senior UK trained neuroradiologists are genuine subspecialty experts in the field of neuroradiology. We have already established NHS RIS-PACS integrations with secure cloud PACS integrated into any trust PACS/RIS from which we can provide a range of reporting solutions from complete neuroradiology cover, waiting-list or ‘back-up/resilience’.
We also provide robust QA to the trust with individual and site-specific recall rates and incidental findings underpinned by tight KPIs, including dealing with any IT/reporting issues.
We have an on-going programme of training for all HLH neuroradiologists, with emphasis on appropriate recalls and routine second reads of reported studies as part of on-going ‘live QA and CPD’. This provides significant and proven unburdening downstream of MDT workload.

Neuro Mission Statement
Our mission at HLH Neuro is to provide bespoke, scalable end-to-end solutions in partnership with flagship neuro hardware and world-leading cutting edge AI to ensure all patients, regardless of geography, have access to non-invasive neuro imaging that is proven to saves lives.
